By registering for or attending an event run by Emmanuel Community, including our ministries, you agree to the following conditions:
I understand that while every reasonable precaution will be undertaken to ensure my protection, I hereby release Emmanuel Community, authorised Staff and Volunteers (“Emmanuel Community”) from any and all liability in the event of any injury, accident, misfortune, damage or loss that may occur to me and my property while attending an Emmanuel Community event (“Event”). Further, I indemnify Emmanuel Community from and against all loss, including legal expenses, connected with or arising from any claims or demands in relation to my attendance at the Event. I agree and understand that Emmanuel Community reserves the right to exercise discretion to refuse to register any delegate upon medical and/or other grounds without providing a detailed reason for doing so.
Medical Treatment Consent
I give permission for Emmanuel Community to obtain emergency medical, hospital or ambulance assistance and/or treatment for me at any time they consider necessary. I acknowledge that I will be liable for any medical, hospital or ambulance expense incurred in my treatment and I agree to pay those expenses.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds - General Events
If you are no longer able to attend an event you have registered for, you may cancel your registration and receive a refund as per the refund policy time frames below.
Up to 28 days before Refund available less 20% administration fee (max fee $25).
Up to 14 days before 50% refund available. [extended to 2 days before for events under $40]
From 14 days before No refund available from this date, or for non-attendance at the event, however registrations can be transferred to a new person (see below).
Refunds - Ignite Conference
Please note that Ignite Conference holds specific refund timeframes which vary from the general policy:
Before 30 June Refund available less 20% administration fee.
Before 31 August 50% refund available.
From 1 September No refund available from this date, or for non-attendance at the event, however registrations can be transferred to a new person (see below).
Unless stated otherwise, all Emmanuel Community events allow registrations to be transferred to a new attendee. To transfer a registration, the new attendee needs to complete a registration using a ticket code provided on request.
Please note that a $10 administration fee may apply to transfers, at the discretion of Emmanuel Community.
While we understand that circumstances can change after registering for an event, these fees cover the administration required for cancellations and event costs already incurred.
