Youth and Young Adults

Emmanuel has run a variety of effective and vibrant ministry programs and events for youth and young adults since it began over 30 years ago.  These  include large events such as camps, conferences and retreats, as well as groups focussed on developing fellowship and formation in an ongoing way throughout the year.

Many of these events fall under the ministry of Emmanuel Youth Outreach (EYO), including the Zero Gravity and Kairos camps, Fuel praise and worship nights, Voltage youth group, Oasis young adult ministry, and a new event called North for recent school leavers transitioning into adult faith and life.

Other areas of focus for young adults include Young Men of God for men who want to gather with other blokes for formation, sport and fellowship, and Young Couples Breakfasts for engaged and married young adults, and the Ignite Conference which is the largest event of its kind in Australia for young Catholics.
