    Accommodation:

The Ignite Conference is a live-out experience, and delegates are responsible for their own accommodation arrangements. There are a number of motel options within short driving distance from the venue, and we are also working with the local Catholic parishes to provide some basic accommodation in classrooms.

      Local Accommodation options

A list of local accommodation options is provided below to assist delegates requiring accommodation. Some venues offer discounted rates for Ignite delegates. All enquiries and bookings should be made directly with the accommodation venue, and the Ignite Conference takes no responsibility for bookings or correspondence with the venues.

      Simple Accommodation

Some simple 'WYD-style' accommodation in classrooms is available at schools within short driving distance of the Ignite venue, and is being managed by Holy Cross Parish, Redcliffe. Please note the following:

      • Enquiries should be made by contacting the Ignite office: email info@igniteconference.com.au, phone (07) 3217 5199. We will forward your enquiry to Holy Cross Parish, who will contact you regarding bookings, payment and other arrangements.
      • Accommodation offered is sleeping on the floor and the use of communal showers and toilets. Delegates will need to bring a mat and warm sleeping bag.
      • All youth under the age of 18 must have a same-sex group leader over the age of 18 nominated as their supervisor.
      • No smoking and no alcohol rules apply.
      • Simple accommodation space is limited, and priority will be given to earliest applications and conference registrations
      • The first simple accommodation venue is now full.  Further venues are being sought out, and costs may vary between venues.  Please ensure you register for Ignite and request simple accommodation early in order to give us the best possible chance to help you!
